OS X equivalent to the classic SoundApp. Dropsound was made to fill the void left by SoundApp, that was not ported to OS X. It is developed for previewing samples, that can be dropped one at a time, or several at a time, onto the main window. Each file is placed in a queue, that can be played by in sequence, if you like, and clear itself when at its end.Dropsound is powered by Quicktime, so it can play anything that QT can, comprising AIFF's, WAV's, and MP3's. These files can be played at half speed, double speed, backwards, or be looped, by the S, D, A, and L keys, respectively.
