This package contains a ctags clone that only handles C, but does it better. So as not to clash with emacs ctags that I also have and want becuase of its support for other languages I have renamed this nctags. Advantages include the ability to jump from a variable to its declaration and more.

Lint software for statically checking C softwares LCLint is an application for statically checking C softwares. With minimal effort, LCLint may be utilized as a better lint. If extra effort is invested adding annotations to softwares, LCLint can perform stronger checks than can be done by any standard lint.

Rhide is a very nice IDE exactly like Borland`s The rhide IDE is a programming interface with the look and feel of Borland`s famous series of programming languages. Very well done.

Bison is upwardly compatible with Yacc, so any correctly written Yacc grammar should work with Bison without any changes. If you know Yacc, you shouldn't have any trouble using Bison (but you do need to be very proficient in C programming to be able to use Bison). If your system will be used for C development, you should install Bison since it is used to create several C softwares.
