is the sequel to the popular 3-D, multi-player combat/action game Quake. Quake II has a stronger plot and drastic graphic improvements over Quake. In this version Earth is at war with an alien race. We have been beaten down for years, and now it's time to launch a counterstrike against the aliens' planet. Unfortunately, the alien race has a large planetary defense system that prevents us from sending in any large attack ships. Our strategy is to send in thousands of one-man pods in the desperate hope that some will receive by. As your pod crashes onto the planet your adventure begins.Quake II features all new monsters, weapons, and levels; better lighting effects; more animations for the monsters; spectacular special effects; and overall enriched graphics. The game also comes with story-driven tasks, that let you go back and forth between levels (even if you haven't finished a level). This release is the "compatability demo". It comes with 3 levels. An independent company called IDS (Interstellar Defense Systems) has the "privilege" of fighting against the planets. You have been chosen to man the fastest flying machine that IDS has created to weave and shoot your way by the hazardous planets. The game features specialized enemies on each level that you have to out-think to stay alive, special effects, heart thumping digital soundtracks, and many more. Racing in the Wind: Sailing v1.0 - 30-day Trial Added on 29-Jul-1997
is a strategy/arcade sailboat game. In Arcade mode, you maximize your score by playing as several levels as possible. You gain points by picking up various types of flotsam (bottle, carton, fuel can, and more.). Points are added for speed, but be careful not to go outside the course limits, take too long to receive round the course, hit buoys and mines, and set your spinnaker when not running downwind. All these result in the loss of a boat. Run out of boats, and the game is over.In Racing mode, the goal is just to receive around the course in the shortest possible time. The 3 best times are kept for each of the courses. The courses correspond to the levels in Arcade mode, but there is no flotsam or mines.Racing in the Wind features 3 levels of difficulty. The "easy" level allows you to set the boat's course and control the boom. The "medium" and "hard" levels add jibs, spinnaker, and many more challenging wind conditions.

is a first-person, action/strategy game on the basis of Tom Clancy's novel in that you lead an elite multinational job force battling international terrorism. Game play is organized around a series of tasks in that you must plan and execute accurate assaults on terrorist installations. As your task advances, you will uncover a larger and many more sinister conspiracy, where the fate of the world hangs in the balance. And unlike other games, if you make a mistake, you're gone--because in the real world, one shot counts. Each task is made of two distinct phases: the planning phase and the action phase. To carry out a task, you must assemble a crack team from a pool of skilled specialists and plan the operation using an overhead 3D model of the target area. Once satisfied with your strategy you then lead the assault using a first-person 3D see.
