For years ATI has bundled software with their retail cards that adds features and extra abilities. Install OS X on unsupported PPC machines. While Apple has limited its support for Mac OS X to those machines that originally came with a G3 or G4 processor, it is possible to install Mac OS X on some previous machines. The unsupported machines that work now are the 7300, 7500, 7600, 8500, 8600, 9500 and 9600, as well the clones that were on the basis of one of these systems (the Umax S900 and J700, and the Power Computing PowerWave and PowerTower Pro). The original processors in these machines will work (with the exception of the 7500, that requires a processor upgrade). G3 or G4 upgrade cards work as well. Other models that use the PCI architecture may be made to work in time.

HP Comm Killer 1.0 - Freeware Added on 20-Jul-2004
Force-quit the HP Communications software. HP Comm Killer has one purpose, it force-quits the HP Communications software that, under versions of 10.2.x and 10.3.x, will "hang" if the PSC (PSC1210 in my case) is turned off or unplugged and then connected/turned on again. Then, when attempting to scan anything, the HP Communications software will hang. Why do I need it? HP Communications is a "faceless" software; you can't force-quit it from the Finder. You need to dig out the Activity Monitor, find the HP Communications App in the list, click on it and "force-quit" the app. Until HP fixes the problem, HP Comm Killer will force-quit the app for you. Place it in your Dock next to the HP Director icon so you can effortlessly fix the problem when it occurs. How much does it cost? Nothing. Whoever responds from a location farthest from El Paso, Texas wins. I don't know what you win but you win. FAQ's: How do I use it? Double-click it or put it in your Dock and single-click it (preferred method). It will force-quit the HP Communications software and then quit. Why did HP Comm Killer launch but not quit? If HP Communications is not running, HP Comm Killer will not automatically quit. I didn't know the command to check if it was running so you'll have to quit manually (Command-Q). Maybe I'll fix this. Maybe HP will fix their stuff first so my app isn't necessary. HP Comm Killer was created with Revolution v2.2 for OS X.

Records all keystrokes to text file. Monitorer is a small software that records every single keystroke you have written on your computer for the whole day. The recorded data is saved into a small text file, so you can prevent loss of data if your computer crashes or if you delete a long piece of text you just wrote you can just open the text file and copy the lost text. This software can also be used to monitor the use of your computer, for instance if an unauthorized person used your computer and altered any settings or data you can just look at what he typed and alter it back. Or maybe you decide to use this software to see what your employees have been doing at work the whole day, monitorer can do all this and many more. With the new feature, the screen-capturing, you have more power to monitor because now you can see everything, for instance contents of websites like pictures, or graphics in other applications like Photoshop or ImageReady. You even can select the quality and the datasize of the screenshots! Monitorer runs in the background so you won't notice it is even there until you need it.
